Stephanie Lee, LMT
“CLEAN EATING 101”
Fitness and healthy living have always been a passion of Stephanie’s, but it wasn’t until she started teaching fitness classes in 1994 that she realized she loved helping people improve their health. A year later she left the corporate world to pursue a Master’s degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education and teach group fitness.
In 2004 she was offered a position as the fitness director on a cruise ship. During her nine-month tour traveling around the world she worked closely with the ship’s massage therapists and became fascinated with massage and its power to heal the body.
After returning to the States, she was eager to begin training as a massage therapist. She received her Oregon massage license at the beginning of 2007 after over 800 hours of training and immediately began practicing. She continues to incorporate massage therapy in her practice, and she has an extensive background in a number of modalities that allow her to individualize your treatment.
Her greatest passion is in movement and particularly in group fitness. Her goal for each fitness class she teaches is for everyone to have fun. The workout and sweating is secondary. Her belief is that if you enjoy what you’re doing you won’t notice how hard you’re working, and you’ll want to do it again! Through consistency she wants you to enjoy movement as much as she does.
