Nancy’s gift to you is a process that is designed to assist you in living from your authentic self. It has to do with redefining who you are after an illness, and part of that journey is simplifying your life and taking care of yourself. This exercise is related to redefining who and what your core values are now, in the context of your condition, and where you want to go with who you are now and who you want to become.
Using core values to help you simplify your life is what this exercise is about. It is from her workbook and is entitled Simplifying Your Life by Defining a Self-Care Practice.
Nancy knows first hand what it is like to descend into the depths of disability. With her combined personal experience of fibromyalgia and a mild traumatic brain injury, and her professional experience as a psychotherapist, Nancy offers a unique clinical and personal perspective presented in her practical guidebook, “7 STEPS OF HOPE Healing the Emotional, Mental and Spiritual Impact of Chronic Illness and Disability”. Her mission is to assist others on the journey of transforming one’s life while living with challenges.
Inspiring hope and healing, Nancy has been featured on many TV segments, radio interviews, books and magazines, including Ladies Home Journal, National Fibromyalgia Magazine, and books such as “Just Fine: Unmasking the Face of Chronic Illness”.
She is the founder of 7 STEPS OF HOPE and Healing, Paws for Comfort®, and the non-profit Xolos For Chronic Pain Relief,™ a result of her story filmed by Animal Planet on her use of Xolos as the first identified service dog specifically for fibromyalgia and chronic pain.
Nancy is a published author of two inspirational books in 2015. The first workbook in a series, “7 STEPS OF HOPE Healing the Emotional, Mental and Spiritual Impact of Chronic Illness and Disability” provides the empowering platform for her online program, live experiential courses, and transformational retreats.
Pink, The 3 Legged Dog Who Lost Her Leg and Found Her Courage is the first volume of an inspirational children’s book series based on her three-legged service dog, Pink and doggie mama Toaster. It comes with a cd of original songs based on the book!
Nancy is an international speaker and a courageous warrior, whose life purpose is to champion others to live life fully, transforming their challenges into triumphs.
